I don;t know why yours is so low Munter, mine is running vista too, and your G-card is significantly faster than mine.
Perhaps processor bottleneck? Try increasing the FSB in the bios. THe 1.8GHz core2duo will reach 2.4GHz on standard cooling, 3.0 if you get a mental water cooler!

Cheers mate...though still some way behind yours and won't be catching up any time soon .
I used 3dmark06 basic edition (the freebie one).
Settings: res 1280x1024, but anti-aliasing off (can't change with free one), so maybe thats why it's giving me a good score compared to some others, don't know? Any ideas? |

The important parts of my new system will be:
Windows Vista Home Premium
MSI K9A platinum
AMD AM2 socket Athlon 64 X2 6000+
2 x 2GB OCZ ATI Crossfire Cert. dual channel RAM
2 x GeCube Radeon HD 2900XT (Crossfire enabled)
Creative X-Fi Fatat1ly Pro soundcard
Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB
Enermax Galaxy 850W w/ 2xEMC008
Zalman CNPS7500-ALCU LED
Might get the OCZ XTC Cooler for my RAM modules but as soon as i get the system built (next 2 weeks hopefully) im gonna stick on that there 3dMark and see where my system stands amongst y'all score whores LOL!
We got any standards here for 3dmark tests?- i.e agreed resolution, overclocking limits, that kinda jazz? |

Come to think of it.
3Dmark06 runs from DirectX9. So anybody running one/two DX10 card/s is only running there card/s from there limited backwards DX9 compabilities rather than, from its full DX10 ability.
Also, Vista is more DX10 bias where as XP is total DX9.
So really what im trying to say is: until there's a 3DMark that utilises both DX9 and DX10 some folk just arent getting the juice outta there cards that they should be. |

8250
Intel core 2 duo E6750 @ 266
8800 GTS (320mb)
2 Gig Ram
Gigabyte P31-S3L 'Mobo'
Vista
Just benchmarked the PC I had been playing on since BF2 came out. Scored 1450. Quite a step up in preformance you could say. |
