i've been playing on your server for a bit to try to catch 1 or 2 of you on .... not spotted any1 yet but that could b because its a totally mad game with no rest . lol .
anyway the patch worked a treat ghaphics r set 2 middle thats all fine with all your help . but ( there's always a but ) now i log in , server updates .... it takes me awhile but i do find your server ( it wont do the ip address ) it loads the map then comes up with join ! i hit the join bit the it blinks ... goes off and im looking at my desk top !
it does it with all the servers not just yours , im here asking you cos i got a quick reponse with the last problem .
i cant even close the game that quick !
ive done the virus check and spyware and cant find anything .
my puter runs at 2GHz and i have 2 G of ram and as some of u might remember i have GT6600 card .

There is a common bug with the 1.3 patch call CTD "Crash to Desktop" have you tried updating your video card drivers that fixes a fair few problems like this.

Yeah, CTD is the main issue with 1.3 apart from the server-side crash problems Smile

nowt you can do to to reduce the frequency or severity, apart from sit on your hands and wait for EA to release the fix for it lol...

If it's any consolation I too occasionally CTD and have heard others in the death throes of a CTD on TS.

I too CTD sometimes on joining.

I find its best to have auto join ON. when you first load up the game, join the server and dont press anything at all, just sit there and wait and eventually you will join the game. Once thats done, on the start of the next rounds you can press the join now button with no CTD.
