Hello all, One of the most inportant drivers in my mind if you wish to upgrade to one of the Windows Vista packages and you run a router is to make sure you have drivers for your Ethernet on the main board because without this you will not be able to get on the internet in the first place
I have first hand experience of this with |2es-assassins main board Ethernet
The was a solution though I managed to get a PC Line cheap Ethernet at only £8
and worked just fine
The more expensive Ethernets we tried didnt have support for Vista but this cheap PC Line Ethernet had realtek drivers which installed at bootup! and |2es-assassins PC is 64 bit version to boot!
Cheers all

p.s I think this problem will more likely appear on 64 bits versions and the slightly older board |

I've got a Asus PDW DH Deluxe mobo which has inbuilt realtek gigabit lan, installed and online automatically with vista out of the box.
The main problem I've found with Vista x64 is the dx10 driver support is still beta and most of the support is patchy. |
