I will be getting it, found some info about wats new...........................

Fast–paced, infantry-focused gameplay boosts the intensity of the all-out war experience.
Three new maps set in Europe, where snow-covered post-apocalyptic cities and a ridge in the Alps become the new battlegrounds.
Two brand-new vehicles designed to support infantry combat available in an asymmetrical set-up, with the hovering light IFV Hachimoto available to the PAC and the massive heavy IFV Goliath available to the EU.
Increased persistence. Ten new rewards, one new pin and ten new unlock items at the top of the unlocks trees, available also on core game maps, take persistence to new levels. Unlock credits earned in the booster pack can also be used in the core game.
Epic Titan mode available on two maps, and for the first time in a urban setting, for more intense Titan gameplay.
Tweaked Conquest-assault gameplay (Assault Lines game mode) on all three maps creates more choke points and more heated battles.
Horizontal podding gives infantry additional ways of moving across the maps quickly

So is this basically the special forces of BF2142? ie: you get a bunch of new weapons (which are cool), and you play some new maps for a few days before you realise no-one else has the expansion and your servers are empty, but hey, at least you get to keep the new guns Razz

I got SF, Euro Forces and Armored Fury, and their not even installed now. Couldn't get people to play them, even when I paid for a server for 3 months just to run them. Crying or Very sad

Not sure about Northern Strike. I know it's only 6 quid but who will play when the novelty has worn off?

in fact i have started to save up my unlocks ready for this expansion. will have 3 unlocks by its release date Smile

. buy the expansion unlock the new weapons, jump on the res server and toast people with em... or try to

i suggest you all start saving unlocks guys.

lol i am tempted however all my money is getting added to the computer i will (hopefully) be getting also if i do get it i cant use click and buy as i havent paid them for bf2142 at all and i keep getting emails from them cursing me to death..... still theres always paypal!

If it's only a couple of quid i'll probably get it - gimme a change of scenery - think i only ever played about 4 hours on Armoured Fury and Euro Forces

Its a booster pack, so its suprising it has new guns and vehicles (which was only included in BF2's Special Forces Expansion pack)

But I'll be buying it for the sake of £6. I'd love a 2 day a week switch over.
