I am pretty good with the ordinary sniper rifle, dont miss much. The unlock was a must have for me as a sniper rifle fanatic. Hower this sniper rifle really makes my head boil.
I miss absolutly everything. It says in BFHQ that it has High dammage and a very high accuracy. What am i doing wrong?
I thought i may use the cross air wrong. I try to aim with the middle, where the horizonal and vertical line join. But under that you have an 6 and an 8.
With what should i aim?
Or is this rifle just the biggest sheite EA ever made?
Tnx

I have a tip for you m8.
YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE TO SPECSAVERS!!!!!!
I have no problems with the m95 i use same method you describe and have no problem getting one shot kills at fair distances. |

It all depends on distance and whether or not the guy is moving, if he's running and ur at medium range aim a little ahead of him, lets say half a man ahead and it'll more likely hit him. If ur shooting from long long range u need to aim up a lil more too hit him due to bullet drop but even then u might miss cos its a damn long way.
U'll get used to it after a while then u'll be shooting pilots out of choppers and drivers out of humvee's and that'll make up for all the misses trust me! lol
1 other thing which i find good to do, at medium range if u hit someone in the torso and u dont kill them, whip out ur pistol and look down the site and shoot him a few times, soon takes em down |

Yeah mate definitely aim a little high, the coders have apparently tried to make it as realistic as possible. Hence the round drops as it goes a distance. Also watch for the "on target" cross hair that appears "if" you hit after pulling the trigger.
On another forum there was talk of, literally, pausing before firing as if you were holding your breath and squeezing the trigger slowly !! This probably works because even with a mouse you can "snatch" your shot making it go just wide. We all try shooting with targets on the move but not very successfully and the enemy will hear you and start searching for you. I would respawn as a sniper and scope you out if you'd taken me out once or twice
Finally sniper rifle doesnt mean a guaranteed one shot-one kill, you could have blown an arm off and the bugger will still run off ............... CHRIST I WOULD |

What this lot said .......... Plus..
Practice. Go single player or a game that will let you play when its almost empty and find a target (static) shoot at it from a distance and then go and se where the bullet hole is etc.
The Other factor is Lag, its always there. Ive put two into a spec ops guys' head from 30 mts and the bugger has jumped up and waxed my butt............ Wish he'd just shot me to be honest lol
Thought I'd say that to save certain ppl the job hehe |
