Connection Problems

Hi Everyone,
Im having this problem when bf is loading up the map it has started to take ages to load, and while it trying to load the music sounds like its been slowed down, then when I do eventually get into the game on random occasions everything goes in slowmotion for a number of seconds. This also happens with ts randomly aswell
Ive tried defragging and cleaning the rubbish out this made no difference. Also avg antivirus and my anti spywares arnt picking anything up, I tried to use an online scan but they were taking forever which I thought was down to this problem so I never let them finnish.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?, could it be my hardrive dying on me ??
