a question for you all. is it best to have a joystick for flying the aircraft in bf2? i usually end up crashing when i fly a copter, can't land em or hover well enough. always leave the jets and gunships to the better players so they can be put to better use. res war-slag is usually playing at same time as me,and that guys good. always good teamwork when in a squad with the 12es players. i've put my membership app in,just need to get a mic. |

i definitly recommend a joystick, when i used to fly planes a lot, i was always using a joystick, so much better than using a mouse and keyboard |

Looking forward to chatting mate, gd luck with your application
I think in all honesty it is a personal preference as to weather you use a mouse or a joystick when flying, I personally find that a chopper is definatley easier to maintain and monouveur with a mouse!!! I know some people that are awsome in jets but can only fly it with a joystick!!
Its defo a personal thing
Im glad you enjoy the teamwork itsa thing that members of the clan are very proud of and when we fire we fire.
Looking forward to you being there in battle!!

Welcome pal.
Cowboys spot on there its a personal thing. Some like mouse, some like joystick. I would just buy one and see what suits you best.
You won`t find a better clan than here. TS and Teamwork is at its best and 100% beats any clan I`ve been in before.
You won`t go far wrong here. |

TBH i hate jets, so cant really comment, for me they are just a fast way of getting to a tactically important flag at the beginning of the round! But we do have some seasoned jet experts who im sure will be around to advise when you get on TS.
Oh and you will love it here, like everyone says our teamwork is brilliant and most of all we always have laugh!
Catch you on TS soon i expect!

Hello Roguesamuri007,
Thanks for saying I am good.
If there is something you want to do in the game then you should do it. Especially on the |2es server.
I have seen you playing and you are welcome to join my squad.
If I see you and I have a space in the heli or some another vehicle I will try and help you become better.
On our server there is a map called Gulf of Oman and there is a two seat jet on the MEC side. To get used to jets try getting in the co-pilot seat.
I fly aeroplanes using a Logitech Attack 3 Joystick.
I fly the heli with mouse and keyboard.
To fly the heli with a joystick you need one with a stick that can be twisted. My one doesnt have this.
I think |2es- SAS flys jets with the mouse and he is hopeless.
DO NOT LEAVE VEHICLES TO BETTER PLAYERS.
Enjoy BF2 on |2es server.
Bysey bye, Slaggy. |

I use a stick for both (Logitech Force 3Dpro) for jets its good but gonna try the chopper with the mouse and see how many things i can hit (Like tree & mouintains).
What would be helpful is to know other pilots settings in BF
Mine are:
JET
SENSITIVITY: 3.40
YAW: 3
PITCH:3
CHOPPER
SENSITIVITY: 2.40
YAW: 4
PITCH: 4
This is a good clan mate (DUDE.... ) We are serious and also have a good laugh |

I fly with keyboard(only) .. waaay more control, plus its easier to flip out on tanks since the rate you can slow the heli down is much faster with keyb |

I use a Saitek Evo for both choppers and jets and find i have a lot more control than just
using a keyboard(i have flown with Java in a heli and you need a sick bag trust me on
this one LOL) I have all my settings set to 10 for both the jet and heli same as Slaggy. The
only problem i find is not being able to set one of the buttons for T/S so still have to use
Alt to speak which can be a little tricky |

thanks for the advise lads. i'll have to pick me up a joystick when i go to computer fair to get a mic. you'll regret saying that war_slag when i'm putting us into the side of buildings and trees!!! your right about my name it is a bit long. couldn't think of anything that hadn't already been used. when you become a 12res member do you always have 12es before your name? if so i might be able to use the name i originally wanted cos pretty sure no other member got it. |

Hello,
The clan tags are added separately. You would be able to keep your prefered account.
Look forward to seeing you on the server.
Slaggy. |

Yeah the clan tag can be added as a prefix so you do not need to restart your account or lose any stats! You will find you learn a million things that you did not know about the game when you speak to people about it.
Its amazing how much better people become as players, i think so anyway! When i joined right at the start it helped me a lot coz bf2 was my first real stab (how ironic) at gaming!

lol! apparently it is a crime in this clan to wear a pink dressing gown when you are deeply hungover after your engagement party! lol! anyway on the matter of names im afraid if you want your stats you will have to keep your name, it is crap i know and there was a rumour years ago when the game started that you could change your name, but this is false. I was pissed off because i wanted to get rid of the 4 on the end of LtColumbo4 but i cant!
It depends how much it annoys you and how many points you have really mate.
