Banned without warning

I was banned for "attacking uncap" on Karkand, yet I was on the hill with a few other people. Whilst I was reviving a fellow squad member I slid down the hill and got shot at, so of course I shot back. The guy I shot was 3MIN3M and 2 seconds later I am banned as was the guy I revived.

I was unaware that attacking this area was not allowed because it's a spawn point and not a base in my view. Uncap = Uncappable flag. There is no flag at these two points. If I was told that attacking that area was not allowed, I would have not attacked it.

I view my ban as unjust and hope you can see this as a misunderstanding where there was no intention on my part to cause trouble.

Is this your ingame name " E7IX3R " ? if it is there is no sign of you being in the ban list?
Just a note if anyone breaks the rules they get banned for 24 hours but if they carry on breaking the rules a perminant ban is placed.

I was using the prefix RAMROD so it could be RAMROD E7IX3R. 24 hours sucks Sad

Yes I found you and you were down as attacking an un-cap which means the ban will last 24 hours, I will look into this situation though.

Its quite a simple situation here mrix. Ramrod, along with several others, despite warnings, were both inside and also attacking the uncap in karkand (throwing grenades down from the hill above the spawn on the right hand side, then coming down and patrolling round the house waiting for people to spawn).

We had to ban several of them before the server calmed down.

I do not enjoy spawning in an uncap and dying within a second of spawning.

I also will not hesitate to take the same action again.

Are they technically uncaps though? I'd think the whole point about not attacking uncaps was that it is the only point of entry for that team at the start of a round. However, on Karkand, there are three.

Think Karkand needs a separate policy of its own? Confused

If you look at Karkand there are only 2 flags which really show as "uncaps". The 2 Spawn points to the left and right are not classed as "uncaps"...just spawn points.

If he was spawn raping at these points, which sounds as though he was then fair enough, but I wouldn`t class these points as uncaps. We could say the same about the whore rapers who use the US APCs and spawn rape the alleyways this is just the same and happens every round.

I`ve seen many a public and |2es member rape these Alleys with Armour over and over again and nothing is done, so why not the same for the US spawn points.

Also players like to park armour just below the sloping hill to the US spawn point and rape the LMG/Spawn this is also done most rounds.

Tuff one.

This position is not an un-cap but just spawn point, I can understand that on Karkand its a slightly different situation and will need to be looked at but technically these guys were not breaking the rules.
But like I say this situation needs to be talked over.
