time for a new type of soldier

it has come to my attention that bf2 soldiers like myself are being left out. you see my role in bf2 is to join a squad and absorb bullets for the squad leader and other squad members. and i think i'm pretty good at it too. the problem is i and other players like me get punished for this bravery by getting a low score,as the scoring system currently doesn't award players for this kind of play. i think it is time we had a new position,like special forces and engineer,of bodygaurd!! this way when you play in this position you would be awarded points for taking bulletts. a good kit would be a grey suit with dark sunglasses. unlockable kit could be earned too which would help you become even more affective, such as a flourescent jacket and ultimately a magnetic vest which would attract more bulletts than you could ever dream possible. am i alone on this or do others feel the same. let me know your veiws,if we can drum up enough support maybe we could send a petition to EA. thanks for your time.

Rogue, that is the absolute best effing idea i've ever heard.

i was born for that role.

The kit could have extra jump distance in order to throw yourself in front of teammates to protect them as well as making it EVEN EASIER for me to get in the way of friendly fire/ team vehicles etc

I'd buy that expansion for sure

could maybe include an extra vehicle in the pack too,such as an open top ferrari,that would make you an even bigger target for peoples anger. therefore diverting it away from the squad leader! i really think we're onto something here.

The suit could also come with a cool automated emote that shouts NOOOOOOOOOO!!! everytime you dive infront of someone lmao Very Happy

maybe a spartan like soilder that could melee with a gun and jump high and do long jumps
or a navy seal that could dive under water with an air tank and swim under water?

about two thirds down it mensions a couple of weapons used by 'frogmen or combat swimmers' but I guess ea/dice did away with the idea like the other stuff mensioned thier aswell!
