Do not know much about his game but did stumble on this link in a forum:

The outcome in the forum was may be best waiting to buy the game if you own a widescreen as it can affect gameplay and not likely to be sorted till the next patch.
Dunno how true this is but worth looking into maybe before you spend your money. |
