maxed out on level 55?

Hi all

Ok,i got to level 55 and seemingly maxed out.I hear that 360 has a prestige mode after lvl55 of online play...does the pc version have anything similar,and if not any unlockables worth keeping going for?

thx for your quick reply....yep i got a gold desert eagle,possibly after attaining lvl 55 but im not sure exactly when.U have any info on when/how you get these extras?

There are golden weapons in each category.

AK for assault, uzi (i think) for spec.ops, dragunov for sniper, M6 for LMG and the auto shotty for demolitions can all be attained as goldern weapons. You need to complete the headshot challenge for all weapons in that category for the golden gun (ie all assault rifles Headshot challenge complete for golden AK and so on).

150 headshots with every weapon in that class,

Assualt = Gold AK47
SMG = Gold UZI
LMG = Gold Annoying Spray Gun that fires through everything and requires hardly any skill lol.
Sniper = Gold Dragonov
Shotgun = Looks like a toy you'd get from Toys R Us but hey its gold!

But no, no prestige mode but prestige mode is crap, u sacrifice your 55 rank, go back to 1 and get a lil icon next to your name in game... wow lol.

COD4 is a great game, i mean seriously if i had to stick with an FPS i'd chose COD4, especially hardcore mode.
