COD 4 Custom Maps

There did seem to be a fair few interested in Custom maps last night.
Well we could set a custom map profile on the match server and check them out when not being used for matches etc.
What are your thoughts peeps ?

Aye would be good. We could run them mon/wed/fri or some such.

I have been wanting to try them out but i always end up on our server instead.

if you remember the best maps you played and you know the names could you post them here please Smile

or we could stick a load in and pick out the best etc.

In my opinion these are the best maps I have played they are all highly playable

Harbour
Matmata
Village night
Sharqi-Day (big map)
karkand (big map)
Warehouse (biggish)
Officesv3
Dawn (big)

Could we have a server message on the public server telling peeps this is now available
Also I noticed there are a lot more servers (quality servers) with the mod on them for saying Welcome (user name) enjoy the server, plus any rules i.e. No usig MG, No Toobs before 5 secs that sort of thing, also these new commands !rules, !rotation, !skills see to interest users

What would be good is to have a download pack for these on our website aswell

Well tbh MRix you seem to have had a lot of time on yer hands recently to rack up those headshots so now you have yer golden AK thought you could get busy again Razz

so how do they work do you have to down load the map every game or just the once also noticed that the ranking starts again is this saved somewhere ?????

I had a look for custom maps the other day on Clanforge, seems like they removed all of them or something because they were having issues with them? i'll have another look when i get back.

My biggest worry with custom maps when they are not official are that they are going to be of very poor quality, and three I tried earlier were complete pants Confused

I have seen far better graphics in cod 2 and far better layout s Crying or Very sad

Would be nice to see something at least the qualtiy of the default maps else whats the point? I just well get my mohaa out Laughing
