Stupid computer

My blooming mic has been hissing on and off for a while now (as those of you who play BF2 know) Still nagging hubby to order me a new sound card, he always drags his heels with stuff like this. But tonight my bloody DVD drive has decided that it doesn't want to work, and hubs has gone to bed Mad

I've tried updating the driver, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, tried different disks, tried using a DVD cleaner and it won't do anything, just searches for a disk but fails to pick it up and stops. I'm not going to delve inside to check the leads, because hubs will say I must have broken it Laughing

I'll nag him to have a look before he goes to work tomorrow.

Oh well, it is quite an old drive so it's probably just give up the ghost, I'm hoping that he has a spare lying around somewhere, we have a ton of spare parts. If not he better pull his finger out and order me a new one tomorrow along with a sound card. You know what I'm like, I've got a BF2 addiction that I need to feed Laughing

Hope you get it sorted soon Wenchy, along with Colnel, Nymph and others I missed you tonight.

Friday night is usually my BF2 night no matter what, I'd be gutted if I was stuck with bloody Eastenders, Al Murray and so on.

you know you could download daemon tools and an image on BF2 wenchy and play without the disc Smile
