a night of 2142 coming soon

hi all

i have spoken to a few |2es- members about battlefield 2142 and having a game some time soon. a few people said they would be intrested. so if you are intrested then leave a reply and i will get a night sorted out. we only need a min of six players to get the server going so the more the better.

I'll be dabbling in some of that. Anyone intrested in getting Titan mode into the rotation aswell? (A mix overall)

sounds like a laugh should be up for this depending on night you will have to show me how to play it properly as I only played onit for about 2 weeks before cod 4 came out and been a cod4 junkie ever since Laughing

thanx for the responce looks like we will have a few players starting the server. i was thinking about saturday 8th of march at about 7.30ish. as this will give people time to have a little play and practice. let me no what you think.

you can get the lastest patch from ea dowloader. it takes about an hour and half Sad

but when its done you should be fine.

Hi Guys,

a little help.
I reinstalled 2142 after reading this post, and was informed on logging in that there is a newer version.. Updated to 1.4 but it still tells me its out of date.
so assumed it hadn't loaded properly, tried the 1.25 patch first, but wont load as says its already patched to newer version.

bloody thing. do I have to uninstall, and then patch up each version from 1.1 onwards in order ???

any advice ? cheers.

i installed 2142 the other day and was having the same problem. so i had to uninstall and start again but this time i went to www.fileplanet.com for the 1.40 patch and downloaded the patch and it worked fine. i did not need to install the older patches first just the 1.40 patch. the problem i have now is punkbuster keeps kicking me out and im not sure why so any help would be nice.

Re: Punkbuster, do you have pbsetup.exe downloaded.
It shows the games you have ( for me its 2142, and cod4) and you can just highlight them and update.
Better than relying on auto-updates.

if you've done that, and still have problems, check youre task manager to ensure both A+B punkbusters are running.
