Hey guys i looking was on http://www.bf2stats.nl/ just after christmas and noticed that there were alot of new players at the top of the world rankings Confused

i looked at a couple of players stats and noticed that they had only been playing the game for 3 days and yet they are ranked 4 or 5 in the world Exclamation

plus only the other week i was ranked 34th for anti tank. ..... now im 93rd and its all thanks to these schoolboy hackers who`ve got the game for christmas from mummy and daddy Mad

whats the point in putting in all the effort to get good at the game and get ranks,medals and awards etc just for some muppet who cant be bothered to play the game properley to come piss all over your hard work.....

I dont generally get near the top of such things, closest i had was top 200 with the Lambert Carbinie playing 2142 for a short while, but i feel for you,especially having got that high in the rankings. Sadly its not really worth looking half the time, idiots make a mockery of the whole thing at least 90% of the time. The BF games have always seemed to have a massive problem with hackers and statpadders purely becasue they can have their names in lights on the scoreboard even if only briefly.

Fortuantely, being pretty much average in general i dont have to worry about it and can just have a laugh. Rolling Eyes

Have they hacked the stats feed as in the past? I use bf2s.com to see how "Poo" I've been doing and I know from their homepage that the leaderboard changed hugely over xmas time.

It was probably player hackers rather than a stats feed hack as they didn't replace Huella (sp?) from the top.

Its sad that ??? (the company in question do't deserve a mention) make hacks for games even before the games are released in some cases.

Took me a while to bite my lip on COD4 when getting shot through a wall "Hacker" I thought until remembering its one of the advantages/disadvantages of the game.

dont get me wrong im not obsessed with my stats or anything..... i play the game for fun like most people but its too see that the hours youve put into the game have paid off.....i got accused of aimbotting last nite so i must be doing something right Laughing

I notice hackers have starting creeping into COD4 a little now as well. Seen a few cases of aimbots. I must say the killcam helps a hell of a lot to see whos cheating so tend to stick to killcam servers.

Unfortunately the kilcam nullifies finding any nice spots as they then know exactly where you are when they respawn which is a pain, i know we have discussed turning it off but the cheating is certainly a consideration for that.

this what i was talking about...there 5 new players at the top of the leaderboard.....if you look at their stats youll see that they are stat padders or hackers, all of them have the same time played for each weapon and maps....same kills and deaths for each weapon

they are even selling accounts on ebay

That is ridiculous the guy in number one is so obviously somehow hacking he has EXACTLY 5100 give or take 100 kills in all of his stats

Even better he also has 0 deaths lmao

all of them are like that..... i think they have found a way to hack the stats server and someone has made it public cos everyone is doing it now

thats crazy. hard to believe ea haven't caught onto it and put a stop to it. i think there are almost as many cheaters now as decent players. i went on a knifes and pistols server a week or 2 ago to get some badges i need. there were a few cheats on there. i was being knifed by people 15-20 feet away. thats a hell of a knife!!
just out of interest though, how much did you say you can buy them for nymph???? Twisted Evil

lol. trying to get my next rank, have enough points but need a few badges. basic anti tank, and engineer. hopeless at both. only ever play medic or spec opps. blew up many more tanks with c4 than anti tank. dont know how you do it mate. whenever i try they just seem to bounce off!
