Remeber it is only a beta and that on the last beta funcom did put the game release back and work on it.
I really do hope its good i think its what the clan needs a really big game we can all get into ,but this has been said about a few games (bf2142,etqw)and they sort of petered out lets hope conan is diffrent.

I think the full game is getting released in around a months time? if thats the case we must be seeing pretty much the finished game bar some bugs / glitches etc.
I think after a few hours of gameplay we are going to know if its yours, mine whoever`s type of game Wink

Its gone gold BUT, i would expect a fairly meaty patch with release. they are still working on things and balance in particular is likely to be changed. Trawling the forum (still not played recently sob) it seems it is pretty much done. Later level stuff like sieging isnt in yet - at least its not been released to closed beta but the early levels should be pretty solid.

What I would say though is don't expect too much of the Massive bit of the MMO genre.. up to level 20 is pretty much single player and its this bit you get to play with in the fileplanet beta.

remember crytor they have already postponed release twice (from oct07-mar08-to the current date may23rd) in attempt to get it as "right" as possible. jeez they even binned the combat system and redid it on the advice of the closed beta testers.

Yeah, this beta is pretty much the finished game, they will only be doing minor tweaks from now on.

When i do play this beta i hope it impresses me enough to pull me away from the likes of WoW.

But saying that, i might get the full game just to get atleast 1 character past level 20 Smile

Well asfar as i can see this is closer enough to the finished game to know if its gonna flop or not.Personally when i play a new game you know within the first 10 minutes if its got the x factor and you deff know if it doesnt have it.I for one will be 100% judgijng the game on this beta and i hope so much that it does have the x factor.
