Metal Gear Solid 4

Got my copy this morning, if anyone is goign to be playing this i'll be on most of the weekend with it - be good to check out the multiplayer.

Hi mate long time no see i gotta ps3 as well now, blu rays look so good on my tv. Whats the game like is it any good??

play it through?? twice?? We'll be on PS6 by the time i'm near completing it twice.

I must admit i've only played an hour on it last night and it was fooking hard i thought - but.. in a good way. Thats what i always liked about MGS theres always quite a few ways round the situation, just takes a bit of thought and consideration. Graphics were spot on - alot of cinimatics - even in the first hour but it adds to the story and the feel and wouldn't say it was a bad thing.

I'll probably dive into MP tonight just to see how it works cause there sounds like some good game modes.

And it has been a while Parky - How you keeping mate?

It's pretty damn good.

I had a little go on multiplayer - but i didn't give it enough time to get into it properly and would be better with some people on it, but so far teh single player is shit hot - If you haven't played the others you might struggle to get the story a bit as the references are a bit heavy handed and frequent.

It's pretty good, bit hard.

The speciality missions are better - team deathmatch is a bit tricky because of people just runnign around shooting and it's no that sort of game, but the rescue and capture missions are quite good.

Still on a steep learning curve with it at the moment. Allow a couple of hours for the complete buggerance that is registering an ID with konami to play online - oh yeh - then installing the online bit - then setting up your character.. it takes a while Laughing
