I had forgotten about this game after news stagnated but seems to be progressing well again now.
Fallen earth is an MMO like WoW and AoC but totally unlike them in that it promises a twitch FPS combat model. Definately worth keeping an eye on this IMO, if they deliver a fair proportion of what they promise it could be an awesome game!

This game has been in the works for a very long time (vaporware alert!)
This is more like my preferred MMO style - Persistent MMOFPS (no i won't mention the "P" word)
Unfortunately though, for me it gets filed under "Don't hold your breath/Never in a million years!" along with that other kop fave Darkfall Online. |

Yeah the thread there was a reminder but I have been registered on the FE site well over a year, like you say vapour alert but it does seem there is tangible progress being made.
Oh and even I have given up on Darkfall ever being released lol! |

From what I have read a few have managed to get on the Huxley Beta and are really enjoying it.
so thats another promising game

mmmm I would love Huxley to be the game I need but in the back of my mind a little voice is telling me it is going to be a big let down ;/ fingers crossed. |

The Huxley gameplay I saw a while back looks too Quake/UT based for my tastes. I'm also concerned about the games general 'depth'. |

I dont think I am going to mind UT style game play in short burst as its an MMOFPS game.
UT2007 I enjoyed for around half an hour at a time but thats all the game had to offer me, in the form of an MMO then um not sure, will be interesting to find out i guess.
