BF2 Widescreen 1920x1200

To obtain Battlefield 2 in Widescreen at 1920x1200 ....

Battlefield 2 does not have native widescreen support. To force a custom resolution, edit your game shortcut so it looks like the following:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

problem with doing it that way i am finding out is...the aspect ratio is not correct.

that's why i was checking this out.
corrects FOV as well as upping the res..

Widescreen Fix

so far, aside fromt he framrate hit, pretty good one if you run AAx8.
not too bad though considering...

the frames do not drop below about 66fps with the WSFixer enabled.

small price to pay to see that much real estate.

that depends bud...

if you try adding this, to your shortcut for BF2
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

there may be an issue however in that the Field of View might be distorted.

so, you could try clicking the link below.

Widescreen Fix

download and install the software, takes seconds really, and then follow the basic instructions.

i have been using it with no issues for the last three days.

I run 1680 x 1050 and have had no issues either with the view, nor the software itself.

There is supposed to be a slight issue when zooming, i haven't noticed it.

seems to be working fine for me..
a couple of extra steps before starting BF2 and wewt! Widescreen ass-kickage!
