Is anyone playing L4D - i havent stopped playing it for ages and i love it but it'd be better if some Res were on as well
Not quite sure how to join a specific server tho so i just let the game put me in whatever's got space

Hi lads
Just downloaded l4d hoping it will jump start my online gaming again seeing its been bloody ages. anyways not played at all yet but will be up for a few games with res members. I should be about all weekend so hope to catch ya |

Lets start using the L4D ts channel. I never see anyone in there so just jump on w@w instead..
Wont be about much this week as I have my first set of exams this week but deffo up for some zombie lovin when I am about. |

i always look and if no-ones on the L4D ts i just play with myself

Cyrus - when you're about could you jump on TS when I or someone's on it and show us how to set up a game on our server. Kop and I tried last night and it was doing some really strange things.
Having finally got on our server - which took a while (mainly cos is was using the wrong IP, admitidly ) there was Kop, me and 2 NPC's - We got to the first safe house and everytime we tried to get out of the door (after everyone had "kitted up") it kept saying that we had to wait till all players were ready.
Kop went into a cupboard and couldnt even open the door to get out of that - same message
so...... when you get a minute

BTW Kop - apparently that "doors not opening" thing has been happening on a lot of servers recently

Well the dabbles this week, especially having 4 Res last night reinforced my opinion that this is a cracking game. That tank taking down two of us with a thrown forklift when we thought we had it under control was funny as hell especially as it wasn't me he threw it at!
We just need enough on to have some hot 4vs4 action and it will be happy happy days.
The thought of having a Tank appear under the control of one of us is quite scary when you think how nasty they can be even when cpu controlled.
just read somewhere that DLC for it will be on the way soon too! |
