I have a xbox sitting in the corner which my missus uses for guitar hero etc , Ive tried playing COD WaW online on it as a lot of people i know use them for gaming but the trouble is apart from the crappy options and gameplay lists i can;t get used to the game pad controller, theres just not enough feed back etc from the sticks and my handsdon,t seem to work in the right directions  |

thanks cyrus looks like what im after , might be spending some time on the xbox now as well as the PC , the wife wont be best pleased |

How is it cheaty to use a control method that doesn't suck ass for fps?  |

really dont concider it cheating, How is it cheating ? its just a different control method as i cant use the xbox controller (poor joints in my fingers and thumbs) and would like to play on the xbox as well as the PC |

The XFPS is pretty decent but you do have to spend some time configuring it, i have one for my PS3 and i much prefer to use it for FPS games as I'm way too use to the mouse / keyboard setup.
It however isn't as responsive as a proper mouse as it's only mimicking the analog sticks on your controller.
People are always going to have hardware for any console / PC that'll give them a an advantage ie better graphics card, cpu, bigger monitor / tv etc.
I mean damn I've even seen some FPS players using a stick on see through target that they can stick on their TV / monitor so they don't have to scope in which certain guns.
Some people are amazing with the analog sticks on the Xbox / PS3 and don't even need a mouse, most of them have grown up playing FPS's on consoles, most people didn't have that luxury and we grew up playing games such as Doom / Wolfenstein / Duke Nukem, I think the first decent FPS i played on the consoles was Goldeneye on the N64.
The only thing you can really guarantee on console versions of the games is the fact that nobody will be Hacking.

oh if it is only mimicking the sticks then it isnt cheating.
on unreal 3 on the ps3 u could use MOUSE MOUSE, and mouse people would own non mouse people.
my opinion that consoles are the best for fair play since hacking is HARD everyone got the same machine and the same controler usually.
but ill always love my pc for the love of mods and THE RTS ,HAIL STARCRAFT.
anyway yeah im good with sticks or wiimote or whatever.
oh and reticule gluers are CHEATS imho.
i did something funny once though i painted a reticule on my monitor only it was to the right and above where you should aim then let my friend play cs, he kept getting confused between real reticule and the painted one, hillarity ensued when he attempted no scoping with the scout. |
