been reading through the beta forums and trying to cut through the dross

and it seems the game wont run properly on dual core CPU's , as its being

optimized for a minimum of tri core cpu's as found in the Xbox 360 and a

quad core really is a must for the PC basically whats happening is the game

is CPU dependent as its a consol port and the cpu isnt handleing the info

quick enough so the graphics card is only working at 30/40% some have

even found that there high end card is saying 0% which is why so many

peeps are having problems with the fps etc in this game , it seems the

E8400 like mine with its L2 cache of 32mb will just about run it at a decent

fps as the L2 cache is handling the overload of data, if you want to no more

about it there a quite a few threads on the beta site about it, Dice are

awhere of the problem and are try to do something about it but arnt holding

out much hope they can do much to help Sad

I have had similar problems to the ones mentioned on the beta forums and I do use a quad core CPU so I think this is not the only problem. Its still beta so these probs can be expected and I still hold out hopes for DICE. Especially as some of the provided tools are having effects should not be too much for DICE to implement the same options as a last resort.

don't tell chunky, he's just bought a e7500 and spent 4 hrs getting it to work.
seems to be affecting all kinds of people this problem. i suspect there's more to it than just the cpu. needs some optimizing. mrix has a core i7 and he wasn't getting too good frame rates either.
it'll be pretty much sorted by release time i think. or not long after.
