I had wondered why the map pack was 2.6GB ! Makes sense Vietnam was included, but what if a person decides not to buy Vietnam, they're stuck with alot of data on their harddrive that isn't any use to them. |

Indeed - also what if you have a cheapass internet connection?? Goodbye monthly limit  |

Luckily dont have an official download limit, but with the shitty connection, it took over 4hrs to download. I do miss my 50 meg.  |

if you read the post vietnams not out yet till dec 18 ( my birthday , what a present !!!) ,the patch installs the new veitnam , and same as you say you buy a key and log on on the left of the screen when its active |

Anyone else having probs since the patch??
My connection isn't great, the ping tends to be a little eratic, and speed varies a lot, but its been quite playable up untill now. Now I get really bad lag, unplayable 25% of the time, and bad the rest of the time. BC2 pings have never been good, even when I had Virgins 50 meg, my ping would still say around 100-120 mark. I now get around 180 - 220 most of time, but its not too bad usually.
I've tried updating to latest catalyst driver so nothing to do with that side of things I dont think.
I tried 2 diff servers, but both the same.
Also found that when I go to reload, it doesn't always work. It'll do the actions, but wont actually reload. Usually takes 2 - 4 attempts. Doesn't happen all the time but real annoying when it does.
Other people in game last night said they get more lag, and sometimes items on the map dissappear, then re-appear.
I think their maybe a few bugs in with patch that need sorting. |
