Armoured Fury and Euro force are going to be available soon "exclusively online", no nice shiny CD to play with. Are we having the new maps on our server? I already have to go elsewhere to play SF (understandably so, we have already had this discussion). What are your thoughts on the new stuff? I don't think the dedicated footsoldiers are going to be to interested in the Armoured Fury but the Euro Force should prove interesting to all.

weapon unlocks is all I will be buying the mods for
SF has some good maps but its a poor idea having the games seperate
even more so with these new mods
being able to do a map rotation with all the maps would be fun, but no more so than havnig intraclan matches etc since not all the clan (although majority can) will participate |

But are they seperate?? I agree having SF run as a seperate game is a bad idea but as these are "booster packs" I assumed they would just be an extension of BF2 and as such can run concurrently. |

you can run BF2 and SF concurrently on the same server, but those w/out SF will get booted out when the map rotates to a SF map, as will happen with the new mods |

As far as I know you can not run SF and BF2 concurrently you need to run one or the other at anyone time
Cheers

Aint that bloody typical for EA... I never really thought of it like that but in MW4 they converted the maps from one version to the other. We had something like 40 maps to use as standard... But with BF2 & SF its like a totally differant version I think its a little narrow minded of EA. |
