The things you do when your bored! Was all alone on our server this morning practicing a bit of flying. After blowing everything up a dozen times I thought "how high can this baby go?" Now I know, 580m tops. Thats when I discovered a whole new tactic! Become a Para! Load up the Blackhawk, take her up high, fly over a flag and all Bail out Float down into the flag and bobs your dads brother!
Do you think this will catch on

I use the same tactic when playing Dalian Plant
jump into a jet, sky rocket to 1000m exit plane and free fall to reactor towers
by the time you hit the ground your plane will have respawned for the next pilot and when you hit the ground your squad can spawn
especially usefull if you can avoid deploying your chute untill the very last second that way there is less chance of being shot down / spotted by opposition |

Another tactic is to load a transport chopper with 2 or 3 squad leaders, hover as high as possible over hostile/un-captured controll points and have squad members spawn on their leaders and bale out straight away. This can be boring for the squad leaders but is a very effective way of keeping the pressure on.
The additional benefit of being in the chopper is that you can rapidly respond to other hostile areas.
I reckon this tactic would be best suited to clan matches where points dont really mater as again it would suck for the squad leaders and to be used say for only the first few minutes of a match to gain a foot hold.? |

cool idea m8, if you had pilot as medic one of the sqd leaders support and the other engineer. maybe even both leaders engineer since you dont need a support in heli really
I've always had a problem w/ repairing heli's in-flight as engineer, can never find the right spot to point my spanner at, and when I do it stops after like 5s
if you did the above it would mean you'd only need to divert when under fire etc
you need a good heli escourt too and command of all the AA possiions in the vicinity |

I use the plane as transport only and use it to get to the middle island on wetlands fast to take the flag and get the chopper , or on wake island just to get straight across to the island to take a flag so members can spawn
Cheers
