Hello all, we are trying to find out what your honest views are on the Resurrection Map Types and various game mods in rotation ?
We need as many members as possible including visitors to our server to post your preferences Very Happy
Many of you know the |2es- community are running a 64 slot Conquest server but what do you personally feel would be the best game mode or mods to run ?
There has already been concerns that when we run a Full server with 64 slots it tends to ruin the gaming experience as the maps are just too small for that amount of players Sad
Do we drop back to 32 slots running Conquest one day and Rush the Next????
Do we carry on with the 32 slot mixed game mode? one map Conquest on Map Rush ????

A mixture of map sizes, depending on the size of the map... I will play both conquest or rush. Smile

My personal Preference would be to see a daily map rotation of 64 Player Conquest one day and the next day 32 player Rush Very Happy
I think regarding the Conquest we can see how popular a large server is as it appears to stay completely full when fired up! Very Happy

Rotation for me, rush and conquest. To be honest I am missing cod Twisted Evil The closet to this would be rush as I quickly get bored on the conquest bigger maps, although a good squad can change this.

Perfect cycle would be -

1st map slot running a original conquest large map (only the big biggest maps run in this slot ie...caspian border,Kharg Island etc)

2nd map slot running a Back to Karkand map (conquest large)

3rd map slot switching game mode to rush (running the rest of the smaller bf3 original maps ie ..metro,seine crossing etc)

Cycle then repeats with different maps selected for its slot,i think that way you get a good variation.....but i guess that cycle isnt possible due to the fact the server would have to switch from 64 player down to 32 to compensate for rush.

Another option would be to run 2 servers.....one running rush and maybe TDM (if it supports 32 players) and the second server running conquest large with a mix of original and back to karkand maps.

Alternate days like you say is another option.

This would work for me too. Doing it from 1 day to the next would avoid 32 players being kicked when the game type switches. This would quickly pee people off and they'd find another server to play on.

Totally respect your point of view but from the last 8 years I have found Running two smaller have never once been successful, we tend to find it breaks the community up which can affect both servers, most of the time we found one server would remain inactive Sad

I think 64 player conquest (BF3 large maps only/karkand expansion in December, imo bazaar seems to work ok in regards to the smaller maps suitable for conquest) and then 32 man rush or rush/conquest mix the next day - on rotation. I don't think I would like 64 man conquest everyday, I need a rush fix at least every other day!

Daily Change 32 - 64 rush conquest my preferred option.

have to be honest here

while conquest has been greatly improved from bf2 it is still a terrible game type imho i have been on a range of conquest servers and sizes of players and it gives me a headache playing it (i am not actually joking it realy does)

i would deffo prefer rush in any way be it a mixed rotation or a day by day one

while i will help the server start on conquest usually 45 minutes of the game type is as long as i can handle before i am sick of it and have to leave for my own sanity or insanity (delete as appropriate)

i dont want to annoy anyone or try to swing the vote to rush i am just being honest sorry if peeps dont like my opinion

My vote if you will, goes to the following:

One day 32 player mix server with a bias towards rush, and the next day a 64 player conquest setup. Alternate daily.

I like both modes. Very Happy

Of course, if I don't get my own way I will be taking my ball back, spitting my dummy out and having a tantrum, will probably run upstairs to my bedroom and slam the door shut hard! Wink Wink

gotta mix the modes/server sizes up from day to day i think - 64 conq then 32 rush next day as people have said

when Karkand is released i think that should feature more frquently as it was a very popular map in BF2 and will attract more to our server who will (hopefully) set it as a favourite

From what we can clearly see, most members opt for one day Conquest one day Rush! Very Happy
