I did a search and followed some tips, like cool bits..etc..nothing

P4 3.2
1GB DDR 400
250GB WD with 16mb buffer
600W PS
GeForce 6800GS 256mb
CD/DVD-R
Intel D865 Perl mobo
I installed BF2 and when starting game..nothing...I waited up to 20min to start...nothing. I selected a map for single play and hit "Start"...it just stays there forever (my record for waiting was 30min..lol) help Sad

Current patches are up to date as well. I shut down all the useless processes as well.

Any ideas?

Note: I can play Half Life and Fear Doom III on high settings with no problems.

if all ur other games are working fine the only thing i'd say to do is re-install bf2 cos it sounds like a corrupt install.
