Do EA/Dice know that they've have released 1.2?

I dont think EA/Dice are aware yet that they've released the incremental and full v1.2 updates. Maybe somone should write them an email to explain that despite all their ranting that people shouldn't download these patches, loads did, and those that did are still using them (me included).

personally I think it was somone internal to the dev. group at bf2 that released the patch as it doesn't seem to be different in any manner(as it couldn't be to run w/ Pb) from the official release.

plus whats with EA locking off the bf2 forums apart from the one about the patch?

I put a similar question to the guys at modersgaming yesterday after my fubar with the patch thing. The DL was there I just took the wrong link.

I downloaded the patch yesterday afternoon from the link they supplied and at the same time asked if this was a bonafied file, the answer was They said that the patch is released but they don't anounce it until the west coast of the US is awake for some reason. But I agree with you Java why do we have to wait about 8 hours from the west coast of the states to wake up have their coffee and bagals wipe their butts and mosie on into work..Why cant the just release the dam thing ?? I suppose they think it influences the global economy or something. Shocked

I know I'm writing this a long time after this topics first post but when I posted yesterday that the patch was available I got the info from here:

note line 'Happy Valentines Day' So, about 8 hours less than GMT for west time, they were just getting out of bed on valentines day at about 4pm our time.

which gives you both full and incremental. I posted at just after 6pm last night.
