I'll second that one Daxx.. It's not just me that thinks LT is a crap.... i mean.. challanged jeep driver. Brings me back to Wake island and LT's offroad experience.. To be honest tho.. Gave me 5minutes of fun Smile

I personaly think that Wake should go... As everyones said, unless you get a chopper or jet it's quite boring, especially now the blackhawks can get shot down by a cap gun in 3 shots.

I appreciate what Mrix and Java are saying, they must've put those maps in a rotation for a reason - becasue it attracts people to the server. But i don't think trying something different can hurt? even just for a week. Because even people people who don't like Kubrha or anyother map will probably play because they won't have played it ina long time.

So there ya go, i'm for taking out wake and possibly Zatar, but.... I'd fully understand the reasons if Mrix and Java didn't Very Happy I'm very much like switzerland in this one lol

We have tried different maps over the time we have been here and thats right if we dont make any drastic moves we should be ok taking away a map and trying something else Very Happy
At this moment in time we havnt recieved much in the line of support for Wake Island
so it could be going shortly Wink

Yeh, That counds good. Daxx raised some good points about Wake, and even Dalian. I like dalian as teh start, and if the server crashes, because it does give you a chance to practise your flying, or fun around without getting shot straight away if your as bad as me :S

I vote for whatever admin decide, but lets have some more opinions chucked in the pot.. Be interesting if anyone has some positives about wake. Bring on the chopper whores Very Happy

P.S. All come to the |2es Meet-up otherwise it'll end up with Me, Scouse, and Chaos terrorising Birmingham and Bullet :S

yes good point Wink The idea of team changing is good but if you can remember we couldnt use it as it conflicted with something Question not sure what it was to be honest I think it maybe have been reserved slots? not sure I will look into it though as that glitch may of been fixed Question

theres no problem with this being re-applied and will get it on the go for whenever the next time the server starts

as for map rotation and map choice, I'm not entirely sure you guys understand the central issue isn't if anybody in perticular wants to play it, but how it will affect the future play on the server. You can easily have Kubra after Karkand and find that a full 62/64 server stays that way for the 1st round, but after the 1st round people start leaving.

Couple this affect with the loss of new-connections during these not-so-popular maps and you have player numbers dropping down to the mid-30's. This can only be repleneshed really when you start a new popular map like the urban maps.

This happens especially in the late evening past 22:00 when you will find that new-connections are quite few and far between, especially if you only have 30 on the server at the time.

also dalian is the best map (we've have tried several others) for server start so we'l just have to stick it out untill v1.4 comes out (which I hear should be sooooon..)

My two penneth for what it's worth .... map rotation at the moment is pretty good but it would be nice to alternate city maps with more open maps, as Bertii said.

Something like Dalian > Karkand > Fushee > Sharqui > Dragon Valley > Mashtuur > Kubra > Gulf of Oman (city'ish) > Zatar Laughing

Wake seems to be universally disliked Evil or Very Mad so I guess remove it, and Road to Jalalabad will then ad another city map when patch 1.4 is out.

But as mrix says "can't please all the people all the time" ........

Put khubra at the end of the rotation because lets face it we are not going to see it very often that way with the current number of crashes.
