cyrus me bullet and i dont know who else have it and i am in the middle of installing it but from what i played in the demo its a ok

Having played this game when it first came out a few years ago it was a real laugh online playing against your fellow clan members Exclamation

I should imagine this new game wouldnt be any different Wink

Cheers for the response guys, i knew cyrus would have it! LOL! and i bet you are 1337 at it already and you know all the shortcuts and have like a jet powered ferrari already or summat like that you git! LOL!

Might get it then and have a bash with you, but i must warn you that last racing game i had was the original colin mcrae like years and years ago! Might be a little rusty! Im sure you guys can give me some pointers!

Think it will give my graphics card a good run out too, plus gives me an excuse to buy my dream steering wheel! yey!

Steering wheels suck. Just use your keyboard. It's less k'fuffle and you dont have to rearange your desk to use.

Might join u lot, Used to playNFSMW and it was awsome.

Well, the industrial action at my place is now over thanks to a 77% vote last Thursday, so all I have to do now is pay off my overdraft, pay my extortionate energy bill, my extortionate council tax bill, and persuade my undergraduate daughter to get a job, and I'll be getting it! Laughing

Well i bought it and i think it is very very good! Only played for 45mins last night but i had a good laugh. Could do with having a run through with someone who knows what they are doing since i havent played any NFS b4. Yeah, i dont think a wheel would work so much in this game, maybe my joypad, dunno, keyboard just feels a little strange. Might get used to it!

Tough doing the gear changes int it! lol!

I was thinking of using the wheel for live for speed which is a racing simulator, has clutch and everything! That would be a different ball game, NFS is just arcade style!

Would be cool to get more people on this game, could be good fun racing eachother etc!

Racing Games, you just have to use a PS2 controller.

Just out of interest columbo what stearing wheel were you looking at?

NFS just use a jopypad, keys suck and stearing wheel just isn't meant for those games.

I do have GTR2 which i wanted a stearing wheel for but could never find one wich looked decent - you can't use a controller for GTR2 as one slight tap of the stick even with all the sensitivity to 0 you just shoot about.. so can't really play it properly

Hey mate i have found the best steering wheel i have ever seen, it is made from leather and stainless steel, all with top quality parts and a clutch and everything, the gearstick is said to feel just like the real thing and the motors in the wheel are top quality! Trying to persuade my fiance to buy it for my christmas present! LOL! wont wash tho, although if you all said how ace she would be if she did that might work! LOL!

Thats the stearing wheel i was looking at... just trying to justify the £149 for it though :S I might try your idea and get the missus to get it for Xmas - but what with saving up for a house i think it's gonna be a no no but i have to deal with it Sad

But.... you never know what santa has in store - that game looks quality - swings and round abouts though... i'd only get the game license if i ahd that steering wheel, i'd only get the stearing wheel if other people i know are gonna be playing the game so it goes round and round Sad

Me too mate, just gunna have to hope, i think it would be super cool playing a full on racing sim with a quality steering wheel! Dont think NFS is design to be in the same genre as live for speed!

Been hooked on TOCA 2 for last couple of weeks (bastard game and Bastard TheWicker for giving me a shot of it) Using a Thrustmaster (Its also in Anne Summers but dont think the steerings great on their one) Racing wheel, its nice and solid but i do like the look of the logitec one.
Having a wheel clamped to your desk is a Shitter if ya wanna play BF but it makes a good chin rest Very Happy
