I'll be on then too if i can get the multiplay working - i admit i've died a bit on single player, but shooting them is pretty easy - but to do that against like minded humans, ducking and popping up is gonna be fun!!

Not to sure on the graphics front, mine said the cpu was only minimum spec not recomenned - uh... Core 2 duo 2.4 @ 3.1ghz - what the fuck they want outta me lol!

I thought the graphics were good, mines neat tidy, no jagged lines everywhere, framerate is now smooth - even the G/f said it looked good an realistic - and she hates my PC Smile

Think you will be waiting till next christmas for CD WOW to deliver it! Laughing

Well i just thought i would give you all a quick run down, me and ghetto had a little one on one last night, i just hosted a game on my pc, and bugger me it was so much fun! No lag, just us two creeping around some awesome maps trying to catch each other out!

This game will just be unreal with more players but even if there are only two of you it is a real laugh!

The maps are more like the size of CoD2 than BF2, but there are different levels so you can be on top of a building and have to smash through the roof light, or absail down the side etc!

Once you get used to the controls it just gets better and better from there. And trust me daxxy you wont need a shotgun, just use the raging bull pistol! That thing would take someones head clean off! LOL!

The snakecam is brilliant too, before you go through a door you can just pop the cam under it and see if there is a nasty surprise at the other side, yesterday i spotted ghetto at the other side, so i lined up where he was opened the door and shot him, wonderful!

Cant wait for more peeps to get it so we can have a mess about.

Like i said 1v1 we had no lag with no dedicated server, but i dont know how true that would be with more players, you may need a dedicated server for that, cant wait to try though!

what sorta fps do you get outa it? similar to bf2? or lower?

I put all my settings on highest, x8 AA 16xAF , HDR on, Shadows Highest, Bluring Highest and i got around about 25ish. But when i turn the AA to game controlled i reck it is just like BF. I havent had any probs just the program that checks your computer is a bit dodgy coz me and ghetto both have super processors and it says they dont match the recommended frequency. I have FX-60 he has core 2 duo lol!

However i question the framerate coz it was very smooth still so i think it was more like 40ish, and i have just checked the ubisoft forums and found this:

I was running it to see what my FPS were... And there is no way it was 10-17 FPS. I know this having played many games in my lifetime, let alone first person shooters because it would be a slide show at this rate if it were true and it clearly was not this slow. It was probably around 30-45 (with everything turned on).

So i dunno, i think you should be ok, it says you need SM 3.0 but im not even convinced of this, the graphics are very similar to most games.

Bought myself a copy from HMV today =) so i'll be on later if you and ghetto are on m8, dunno when my other copy will show up but i'll either sell it or do a Res competition or something on Cod2 lol.

If you ordered from cd-wow, don't bother waiting. Have just recieved another delay email so called up and cancelled. I am going to go and buy the bloody thing from a shop, if I can remember how to do that...it's been a long time Laughing

Called the number, asked for my money back, and the cancellation email arrived before I'd finished speaking! Now if only their delivery was as quick Laughing

was listening in on Ghetto, Scouseandy and Clarke last night in the R6Vegas TS Chan
sounds just like RvS used to be Smile

hopefully the game will run to some level with my current PC before I sort out a new machine somewhere down the line.

just like to point out that although there might only be a couple on, the actual gameplay can be amazingly submerging just like Battlefield, COD and Counter-Strike are when you get down to the nitty-gritty.
