Just bought the game.

My first reaction to it was rubbish type of game style; however it’s growing on me and will give it a proper tryout.
One of the biggest problems was the frustration trying to connect online for multiplayer.
Iv sorted that now so will be able to relax and learn the gameplay now
To be fair iv only played it 15 minutes lol

I would ask anyone who bought this game to give it a couple of hours just to get used to it, try and have a game with some res peeps on a server and you will just love it! The gameplay is unlike any other game out there, and the level of character customisation is phenominal. Then you add the excellent graphics into the mix and its just awesome!

i have this game,i played the xbox 360 version first and thought nice,shame about the jaggys,so got the pc version thinking it would have regular pc settings like fsaa and aa,for what you get visually this game is a joke hardware wise,took me a week to get into the game,that first level was ugly as hell and i had keep turning off to stop offending my eyes,ill say gameplay as far as FPS singleplayer goes it had to be some of the best set pieces ive played,i had a go or so online and decided it isnt for me,i am slow to get into games though,ive had 2142 since release and only this last week have i clocked up my first 4-5 hours playtime.have less than that on SF and EF,i search the web and stuff people go on about how good this game looks! i dont get it,it actually looks better on a 360 on a standard TV imo as you get some "free AA "from the crappy resolution,would some one upload a few fraps screenshots so i can compare just to make sure i havent made some numpty mistake as im using a widscreen mod,and im not convinced im getting the resolution i should be,or this game is pig ugly ,i decide to upload a screenshot i see i took,notice the rough as hell edges every where,specially round cockpit in this one

I rented the game first and found it to be pretty fun. My brother bought and loves playing it.

I got the game a couple of weeks ago and I think that the single player is pretty decent. I'm used to playing FPSs on the PC, so I'm crap on them on the PS3.. hopefully I'll get used to it lol. Hopefully I can get playing with some decent players from Res on it.. My gamertag is: redmanc91
