New Counterstrike Source Server

Hello all,
One of the most popular online games to date is Counterstrike Source and I know a few |2es members over the past months have asked about having a server for it.
well as a bit of an experiment I have decided to try a small 12 player server to see how we get along Question

Anyway as of Monday we will have a 12 slot CSS Server Very Happy

I'll be up for some of that.

To all those who havent played it yet - its a great game, and easy to get hold of. Download steam and set up an account, you can buy and download the game for a tenner!

Its cheap and it runs very smoothly and if you want a little break at times from the main games well this could be it.

Bought and played it tonight for an hour or so. Loads of fun and easy to get to grips with. Look forward to the server coming online Very Happy

I think the servers for vegas will be coming out soon, the SADs have been released so i cant see it taking that long for Jolt or Multiplay to be offering servers!!! Theres hope yet! Dont think ill bother will CSS, vegas and BF2 are enough for me!

From what I've played of CS:S it seems a lot like vegas (but without the suspense of sneaking around), with elements of COD2 gameplay. I find it a bit weird to have to buy my weapon all over again when I've been killed but apart from that it's a good laugh . Now if vegas ran as smoothly on my PC as CS:S the contest would be over, vegas wins hands down.

i used to play css alot Very Happy

havent played for a long time now tho but ill definitly reinstall it Very Happy

make abit of a change from bf2 and 2142

Basically any server that would get used we will get one Very Happy

unfortunately there wasnt support at the time for the server
If there was some interest we could try another month, I have noticed a few new maps just got released
