This is what its ment to fix
Fix for Squad Leader Spawn Beacon CTD
Fix for Titan core exploits
Code of conduct enforcement enhancements. Players who are found in violation of EA/DICE Rules of Combat will have their account banned
Adjusted Static AV cross hair alignment to improve accuracy
Added server side option to disable Titan movement.
but it does not say any thing about a crashing to desktop fix  |

According to EA, the desktop crashes are not a fault of the battlefield engine, but a case of graphic driver issues.
If you ask me, they arnt bothered to fix the crashes and give us any lame excuse. I tried several drivers for my card now and still i get desktop crashes  |
