Well my next plan is now to get a good TFT.

So what you lot running?

This is the one I have been looking at.

Only thing that puts me of a TFT, is the ghosting effect on games, my CRT is fine just a bit big.

that looks very nice drew, I have a 1680x1050 monitor and I have never experienced any ghosting!
bf2 will look great on that, pity bf doesn't support widescreen but it still looks good!

Drewey,

I bought exaclty the same monitor about 3 weeks again and all i can say is... it was well worth the money, the picture quality is excellent, i've not noticed any ghosting - it does have a 2ms repsonse time.

It's an awesome monitor, the other one i was looking at was the Iiyama 22" which Hey-Hey has and says is brilliant.

But i'm more than happy with the Asus one.

BF2/2142/POE dont have a widescreen support but you can run it widescreen by (1 way)changing the target of your dektop icon via properties to -"E:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900 - i belive you lose a little of the screen but i havent really noticed it ,change the last 2 numbers to that of your desired resoution! i

Going to hold my guns and try to find a cheap one.

I would agree LT, my CRT does the job fine just the 2ms responce time got me interested. Very Happy

That Asus monitor is brilliant - its on my wish list. (lol, wishful thinking list ... )

If you take a quick look around, you can save about 40 quid by getting a cheaper no-name brand 22" TFT. However, look closely, and you'll see reviews complaining of backlight bleeding, ghosting, no DVI support (whaaaat?).

The Asus one is a bit more expensive, but well worth it. Its got DVI, built in-speakers (which are crap) and a very fast response time. And 22" monitor (which is about 50cm x 30cm viewable area) looks the shizznit Smile

Go for it, you wont be sorry Cool
