Hi as you all probably know I have been upgrading my pc a lot over the past couple of months and Ii have been asking a lot of different people on their thoughts to get good results out of my rig. So I thought I would make a post on this matter as I reckon a lot of people would love to be given ideas but they don't like to ask for them! I know posts like this have already been done but with all this new technology out I thought it would be good to do it.
I think these below are the most important areas for performance tweaks so Thats why I have listed them but if anyone has got ideas on any other matters it would be appreciated if you could put them down as well.
OVERCLOCKING:
I know a lot of people in this community overclock their systems so if anyone can give ideas on how to achieve the best results possible would be great as the more info given the better it will be for the experienced and the inexperienced.
COOLING:
If anyone can give advise on what type of cooling should be used i.e what type of fans,the size, which directions they should blow and how many should be used, and if you are using water cooling the same applies.
GRAPHICS:
Again i know most people are looking to own or to buy the next directx10 cards that have came out but if you have any knowledge on how to get the best performance out of you card no matter how good the card is or not i think this might help people a lot.
MEMORY:
Any info on what type of memory should be used and how to achieve the best possible results from it.
HARD DRIVES:
Any info on this again would benefit a lot of people as this is very important especially for access times into games.
MOTHERBOARDS:
Advise on witch boards to buy and how to gain performance out of them.
SOFTWARE:
Again if anyone knows any good programs or utilities to use that might help people it would also be good if people could share them.

Geordie if you post your current spec (including case, current fans, temps and the obvious hardware) and what would you like to do (over clock, cool down etc.) and how much you intend to spend to achieve this we could help alot more.
if its just general tutorials there are plenty on the net just Google them.
As far as applications are concerned there are plenty but once again you would need to state your hardware and what you want the apps to do for you.

Just dont keep your core at 75 degrees for too long mate! LOL!
