Well i had vista home prem installed ....good everything went well no prob's , Right time to install BF2 yer come on yup everything ok ....restart pc yup ok done that ......right not to install SF...........WOT WHERE THE HELL HAS MY DVD DRIVES GONE tried restarting nope sod all drives...ok ok system restore will fix it nope still no drives message reads - "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" WOT IT WASNT A PROB BEFORE now foot very very close to kicking tower across room.
Anyone had this prob????
If not and i find a fix will post it here

Have u tried uninstalling the drives and restarting comp? also check ur windows updates. Are you dual booting with XP and Vista or just a clean install of Vista? |

thanx for the reply cyrus .
I did the first two but nothing, have just done the last and drivers now showing again have installed bf2 and they are still there yipee, but now i get PB kick lol I know theres summit ya have to do but cant find it on our forums yet sob |

Cheers mrix, next stupid question; do i have to get driver updates from the actual manufactor or can iget from other sources (who???) its for my logitech force 3d pro joystick as i was on their site and there was no updates for vista only xp |
