The booster is out, had a quick play this morning

Downloaded mine last night, installed this morning, will play tonight.

I've reverted back to XP now - vista is safely in it's box. hopefully i should have crossfire working and TS up and running tonight so should be on to play if anyone is?

I have to say i was loving the game last night.

Although there werent really enough people to make it as fun as it could've been!

The goliath was immense, but once you know how to deal with it, it's not to bad.

Are we leaving our server on it M?

I'm not necisarily gonna be on tonight but i'll leave my body on over the next few days when my comp is on to give it a fighting chance.

I finally got on the game today and I really like the maps Very Happy

As the maps are new most will be wanting to try them out so its best to leave it at that for the tme being. Also the server has been very popular today which is all good Very Happy

Hi. I got the download of Northern Strike with the EA Link. It just says 'Installed'. How do I play it please? Question

Hey Kelly welcome to the site, you just search for a northern strike map when you go ingame, and connect to it Razz

either that or u should have a 2142 northern strike icon in ur start menu?

I've got NS but barely played it as its not on the server since i started playing 2142 again.

From the hour or so i squeezed in the only map that grabbed my attention was the Titan docking one, Port Bavaria is it? Had some good firefights at the cliff edge jumping up from the lower points when there was opposition in place in the loading bays waiting. Not played the bridge map but the final one didnt impress me - i hate vehicle centric maps mainly as a Tank or Walker with me at the controls is a deathtrap! Smile
