Hey fellas,
Snappiestsix is astrosurvaying moons in in hasimijaala quiet 0.3 space (next door to hysera) to find somewhere to potentially moon harvest.
It is can be very lucrative for the corp, but im not sure on all the particulars...
but i know its staright forward to set one up, anchoring to lvl 3 is all thats required.
Pls see the address below for the EVE guide on pos's and for a medium pos we looking at 200milliom isk and a further 50-100mill for the add ons
( defences etc )
http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=179069&page=1#2
I know where one is stationed in hasimijaala and will leave a book mark in the corp hanger if anyone wants to fly over and have a look. simply drag and drop from hanger into bookmarks and ya sorted. please make another copy if uyou use it thx.
WARNING- you must not fly to this POS in your ship as it will lock you, scrammble you and destroy your ship. go there in your pod only as it will not target you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it has been set to kill anything on contact- as i found out:(
Pls post your thoughts

Its a big step to the POS, there are some big pitfalls involved, and a lot to consider...
The main issue is fueling the bastard... there aint a great number of us in the grand scheme of things, and we would have to moon-mine our arses off... cos buying that fuel is costly. |

I have just read the info at eveonline and Mav's right, it takes some serious fuelling just to keep it online and it recommends having 1 months supply of fuel before you even think about erecting it, and thats a sh*t load of stuff. Someone would have to be mining almost constantly in losec space to ensure we have enough. Are we prepared to do that?? |

Yeah i agree there is alot to do to keep a pos fueled, wasnt sure on peoples current mining skills, which would be very important as we really should mine our own ice.
But initially the moon harvesting, if we only settle with the raw mins from the moon, isnt that great, however the 3rd stage reaction is vastly profitable.
Pos's are well defended you can arm with many types of wepon batteries including citadel lunchers (anti capital ship) and lots of them depending on control tower powergrid and fuel amounts.
It's just idea at the moment and doing some homework to find out the ifs and buts off some players who use them.
see wot snappie finds out on the astrosurvey to wether there any decent rocks out there anyway.
Plus if it doesnt work out then you can always take it down and flog it back on the market, so all youve really lost is fuel, which yes is expensive, but depending on the amount of iskys that can be made.
This post is purley a discussion and the concept an idea or possibility thats all, more thoughts the merrier.
Cheers guys,
