Is anyone playing or played this game???, its the reason I havnt been on BF for a few days its got me hooked, havn't tryed it online yet but gonna soon.

. If you are looking for a new game get Tiger Woods in time for the US Open this weekend. Its a good laugh and easy to play (especially pisht).

A few members here have tried stalker and not one has enjoyed it Confused

I couldnt get into it myself but I may give it another go at some point.
As you are hooked I guess I may need to play it for a little longer.

Stalker is an amazing game which is based on tarkovsky's (Solaris) movie stalker which in itself is based on the book Roadside picnic, both are considered masterpieces of Soviet era art.

Stalker the movie, is credited with prohecizing the CHERNOBYL incident, a good number of years before it happend. and to this day scientists roaming Pripyat like to call themselves... Stalkers.

Yeh Stalker is a reallly good game but oh my is it Tough! Rolling Eyes

Example: I was in a the middle of an Unholy Gun battle and it was going OK, i spotted an enemy sneeking around the back, I thought right i`ll get myself into a doorway then i can defend and duck behind the door if it gets too hot.......the sneeky little bugger shot me dead through a broken window to the rear of the building......yeh i got fed up with dying too much......i have actually started it again on easy level (which aint easy either BTW) and its really good, and a little bit a Scary!

I agree the game is fantastically made with amazing graphics and great story but I stopped playing it when it got near impossible at some points.

The game is extreamly intelligent and there were some bits I musta played over and over just to get past, what a nightmare.

Other then that its the muts nuts of a game. Be patient!!!!

I love this game for its replay value, especially with all the mods out for it and still been made,my personal favourite is Faikes mod,look it up on here

Also if u have an way fast computer there is a bump map and ultra graphics mod somewhere on the site which makes the game look even better.

Yer it is well hard, and i'm getting well naffed off at some bits which just seem near impos to do like the bit i'm at now trying to get some suit for the scientist and there is a PSI thing killing me aaaarrrrgh.

Havnt tryed it on-line yet or mod's as i have not had it long.
