first let me say that i would not call myself an rts expert i have only played around 5 to name a few warhammer 40k dawn of war, command and conquer tiberium wars 3, and lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2
ok so i have played this games beta and it has some promising features and what not but first i am gonna tell u what i think of the tutorial
the tutorial now that was good tought u everything it should and no more which is what a tutorial is ment to do
now the multiplayer i didnt like very much well i did but i didnt i mean normally in an rts u do everything infantry, air, armour and support but in this one u chosse one of these u choose to specilise in one area either air or infantry or armour or support now as we alll know infantry is men armour are tanks air is helicopters and planes and support are airstrikes and what not
now while the games good in theory it is not good in practice well not for me but the reasons are i like being in control of both men air and support and tanks i mean u build up the force and own ur opponant to me this is not a true rts to me and is not special as far as i am concerned i will stick to dawn of war which has a better rts feel to it
my ratings
tutorial 4/5
graphics 4/5
gameplay 2/5
audio 4/5
please feel free to comment but theres my review of it all be it and a shody one i am not trying to pursade u against it its up to all to decide if they like the game but i particulary does not get me enthralled as other titals but hey try it!!! make up ur mind and tell me i am wrong lol
cheers

Great review Grim. I think it is incredibly admirable when someone writes originally about something. A review from someone outside of the games industry or the games media is very valuable as it represents someones true opinion.
It is refreshing to read new material rather than cut and pasted stuff without a link or a credit.
Well played, Warslag. |
