If thats gameplay footage and not promo vid then this game looks like the real deal. Can't wait
Now, if only my university sponging daughter was not hoovering money from my account almost as fast as I earn it I could probably get a PC to do it justice ! |

I don't know if its the fact I'm fairly new to online gaming and I suppose PC Gaming in general but I've never seen anything like those videos in my life. I liked Far Cry for the graphics (even with my rubbish set up), I never played Half Life but I enjoyed looking at the physics of that game, for eg, picking up something and chucking it at an enemy. I know those videos won't look half as good on the minimum required specs but everything about it looks amazing. The lighting, the weapons, the scenery, the physics, the game play. Unfortunately for me I doubt my pc would play it even if I did upgrade to a dx10 card or whatever it is.
Is it likely to become the best/biggest ever pc game? What will the online side of it be like? Whats the latest update on its release?
It was only 30 years ago approx that Pac man, Space Invaders and Frogger were out. I thought my Tv Atari thing was the "Bees Knees" back then with the bat and ball thing. Can you even begin to imagine what our Grandkids will get to play on? |

Crysis um sure will be a massive leap forward in PC graphics, this time around they really have focused on the multiplayer side so much more to get it right
With the game being so interactive and the realistic graphics I think it could well be one of the best shooters we have ever seen and played:D
Cheers

About 5 years ago I went to Orlando and, as you do if your afflicted like us, I went to downtown Disney where they have a building with three floors of computer games of all kinds, all for free. I spent about half an hour inside a helmet wielding an imaginary sword fighting monsters in virtual reality. It was stunning and a huge amount of fun, but the weight of the helmet, even with a bungee cord to help take the weight, gave me a huge headache. Now, five years on, I imagine newer technology and lighter materials could have brought that weight down to a point where affordable VR for the home is not too far away. Can you imagine BF2/2142 in VR? Hope Im not too old to see that appear in the shops
As for the older games, when you cut your computing teeth on the ZX81, BBC Micro, VIC 20, Commodore 64, Atari ST (my first HD, 20mb !!!) and Amiga (like me ) then you also spend a little time every now and again at this web site:
