10 Reasons to buy MOHA

Well after playing the game for about a week now i have to say it is pretty awesome - even with the initial glitches and lack of dedicated servers. Here are my reasons to buy this game:

1. The parachuting - this is great fun, something that really changes the whole outlook of the game. You literally have to look everywhere for the enemy, this brings me ono my next point.

2. Rooftop fighting. This is awesome, you can land anywhere and traverse to the rooftop from the ground on a number of buildings. This really adds a 3rd dimension to the battlefield. Running across the roof is great fun.

3. Graphics - this game has awesome graphics, the destroyed buildings are really great, you can jump from level to level and hide from your opponents.

4. Physics - the gun battles are really great. Every gun has its own character and the physics are much better than CoD 2. To me there is not one gun that rules either, you have a good chance with each gun if you use it right!

5. The cover option, leaning and peeking around and over obstacles becomes second nature. Again you really have to have your wits about you to see people hiding ready to shoot you in your face!

6. Little or no spawn camping - speaks for itself

7. Map Size - the maps are great - there is a healhy mixture and they are all a great size, not too close like CoD 2 but not too big like BF2 (Zatar!). No vehicles so it is all running and sneaking around! Apart from when you parachute in that is!

8. Controls - the controls easily adapt to your play and you feel, you feel in control of your charater and the cover option is operated really easily.

9. Cooked nades - Assasin will love this, however i dont think you can use them in the same lame way as CoD 2.

10. Weapon upgrades - Hefty will love the grenade launcher - not as effective as BF2 so you cant really n00b tube people, but it is really fun to use, especially taking out a group of troops at distance.

11. There are too many to list - the Melee attack is fun and realistic a lot more refined than CoD 2.

12. Sniper vision - snipers can still get some awesome shots but they do not have an unfair advantage as they have to wait to focus properly - as i said there is a good balance.

13. 12 is the perfect number- 6 a side multiplayer - rarely do we have more than that playing on our server at once so we are covered for this!

The really great news is that this is all tested on non-dedicated servers atm so it will be even better when they come out. There is supposed to be a patch soon too, i think despite the teething issues this game is really a class apart. Different gameplay to BF2, a lot more to think about in terms of survival! The enemy can be anywhere!

Really immersive fun, i would recommend to everyone unless you really only like armour combat.

Been thinking of getting it, just waiting on playing TF2 to see how i like that.

Whats the pacing / playstyle like compared to say 2142 - CS - whatever though?

You can sort of play it as you like, you can run around with a machine gun, or get your rifle out and find the nearest chimney to hide behind!

The games are relatively fast, but there is no waiting to spawn, you are always in action. The cap the flag is very good as sometimes you need 2 players to cap certain flags making teamwork a must.

There is not as much going on as 2142 but the gun shots in the background are realistic and it really gives you a feel of what a WWII battlefield would have been like with planes overhead and sporadic gun fire in the background. Like i say it is really immersive, you really have to be on the ball or you will just die. Every break of cover you make has to be calculated, and you have to constantly check nobody is lining up a headshot. Great fun!

Took me ALL NIGHT using bloody EA link. I thought "I'll get that and have a blast later", how wrong was I Crying or Very sad

Lt is right though, awesome game. I like the way the enemy get more experienced as you go through the game, you cannot just charge around like an idiot (normally my best tactic Laughing

) as they are in front, behind, above, below. Have you won the medal for not dying yet? I haven't Laughing

Really enjoying the game, I have not got the medal for surviving the round yet (On one player mode). Well have to get into the multi player mode, only had a few goes. How do you find in not using your clan name or has anyone found away around this?

I cant understand how you can not like the game one bit as it has captured so many good points from games gone by like Mohaa and COD2 but thats your preference I guess Confused

I think if a game is not identical to cod2 your not interested Bullet, you are pure cod2 through and through Laughing

The multiplayer has so many elements of COD2 I can't understand how lovers of that game would not like this one. Confused

Me too, its just way way better. CoD 2 was fun but the game itself left me wanting more. I think MOHA could have that bit more bite to it as you have so much freedom in game to do what you want.

Last night was great, the game really promotes teamwork as pairing up really helps you stay alive! The game mode with flags is great fun!

Have none of you guys experienced any technical probs playing the game - mine has frozen EVERY time i've played it except once and i've uninstalled now and haven't had a problem since

i'd be interested in any feedback but looks like i'm gonna have to wait for a patch i think Crying or Very sad

Thats strange mate, i think every game has a few technical hitches to start with, hell BF2 did! Try downloading the latest drivers for your graphics and motherboard, that could fix it. Other than that wait for the patch, i dont think it is very far away tbh. I reck it will be when they release the dedicated servers.

Thanks LT but ive just put a new PC together so they're def latest drivers - inc BIOS update

like you say, patch shouldn't be long knowing EA !!
