Can anyone help?

At the moment I am afew thousand off my next rank (which is a understatememt)! I am finding it difficult (Dam hard) to get my basic knife and pistol awards Mad

. Does anyone have any Ideas how I can get these? My normal play is kill, die, die and die again Sad

I guess your not talking about Crysis? (you posted this in the crysis forum)

If you are talking about BF2
The pistol one is easiest to get if you snipe someone then pistol to finish them off. Knifing is a bit trickier, but try sprinting at someone then diving to prone and knifing them, or just prey on snipers that don't have a clue that you're coming.
Shame you can't use a cloaking device like on 2142, would be alot easier Razz

basic pistol badge is easy to get, you only need 7 pistol kills in a round to get it Very Happy

best map to do it on is karkand, knife badge is abit harder to get Rolling Eyes

due to arthritis in my hands i stick to less mouse clicks ie anti-tank - 5 rockets=5 mouse clicks -
there are some knife and pistol servers if you write pistol in server name - servers will appear ..
i say this because i would never get my knife badges so resorted to joining these..
3 other friends play at mine - its a bit like a disabled bungalow internet cafe :*)
-it's where i took my friends when they first started as too many kills at the beginning was putting them off - bit more tactical close-up for beginners..
