LOL! I was £400 and 3 months over budget when i did my last build, so no need to panic rogue.

Enermax, Coolermaster and Antec are very good makes, along side those scunny named.

I've got an Enermax Galaxy 850W- it was expensive, but its the nutz!

Dont worry about asking too many questions rouge- the more you ask the more your gonna know Wink

Wouldnt the sound/mic jacks be on the souncard/mobo you choose? I thought they were only on the case itself for front or side mounted access?

Installing the front panel 'mic' and 'line out' onto the motherboard is more hastle than its really worth when the back panel does the job- unless you've bought a really cheapy pair of speakers/headset with a small cord LOL!

PC format just recently reccomended the Arctic Cooling, Freezer 7 Pro. Costs £12 so definately cheap but it ran a Core 2 Quad chip at 50 degrees under load so pretty effective cooling too. Its not the quitest fan around but for performance they rated it better than coolers costing 3x as much.

Creative X-Fi Fatality and gamer cards come with a front fascia with controls and outputs and this goes in 5" front bay so that could solve the problem - for the quality those puppies are cheap as chippers now.

I have one rigged with a pair of Sennhiesers and I can hear the mosquitoes biting me on COD4!
