been playing single player for about a week now and thinking about going to multiplayer but havent a clue what to do , theres list of servers once a pick multiplayer ?can I just click onto any of them or is there more to it also is there any etiquet I should follow before hand

Just click on a server in the list and thats about it really and if you have the latest patch you should connect ok Very Happy

finding very confusing ???? clicked on a server got on started move and get my feet then I seem to get chucked out and back to the server's screen again am I missing something

does it tell you the reason why you were kicked. it may be your ping is too high. a lot of servers will automatically kick you for this as it causes lag on the server. make sure you don't have msn on before you start a game, as this increases your ping. are you on a wireless network?

most of the time a box comes up with punk buster which I think is a anti cheat programme , I dont think im cheating is there an uppdate or something for it ?/ I updated the game the other night Confused

punkbuster is an anti cheat programe,this doesnt mean youve been kicked for cheating....sometimes PB will kick you if your PB version isnt upto date

go here to update PB http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php
scroll down the page and run PBsetup.exe for windows,this will bring up another window,click on Add Game to add BF2 into setup,once youve added BF2 click on Check for Updates and PBsetup will install any updates needed.

if you still keep getting kicked by PB then make a note of the reason why youve been kicked so we can try help better

Just one very important point have you actually clicked the option to allow punkbuster ?
This option needs to be clicked as most server are running punkbuster anticheat.

This is really starting to get annoying Ive updated punkbuster and its made it worse I enter the game and within 5 seconds IM chucked out ive checked that punkbuster is ticked I have a green light on in advanced on the multiplayer screen , when I get chucked out all its says is punkbuster in the top left hand corner nothing else ,

Think I may of sussed it im running on administrator and it didnt kick me out last time will let you now how it go's cheers for the help
