Hi ,
Firstly Im persuming that you want to add the partition to the one in use (C drive) not just have an empty space on your hardrive?
What OS are using?
Im not so sure with XP , a couple of programs are Acronis and Partition Magic but I dont know if there free or not!
There may be tools to do it in XP itself though as in Vista there is a partition manager in the administrative tools. .
Now that said , you may run into issues as I have tried a while back. On my disc there is about 6gig of unallocated space which I tried to add to my C drive, The problem was that the drive had to be dynamic ?? I didnt understand it fully myself, but I think you cant extend a drive that already has a file system on it , you can however shrink one ! I may be wrong as I gave up pretty quick, maybe the programs mensioned above will have better options to work with?
Hope this helps
Thanx Gaz!

Hi ....

You dont need a third party program. If you are using Windows XP :

Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Comp Management -> Disk Management

Select the drive and just delete the partition/volume which you want deleted...

Or

Stick in Vista/WinXP CD when booting up pc and delete partition using Windows CD.

T-Bone.
