is it just me or is there a problem with our server settings , ive tried for the last 2 days to get on our server and its ... timeout...timeout , i can get on any others but ours seem to be a pain , anyone any ideas ?? , ive set my config to timeout at 60 secs so i can attempt to log in longer than the 10 secs allowed but still no joy ? cheers .by the way its a steam game and im running the 1.3.513 patch , latest one |

Indeed this appears to be a constant problem, much worse for some than others. It takes between 3-10 attempts for myself to connect. I remember BrianUK had to fook around for over 30 mins (at least it seemed his moaning lasted that long!  ) the other night before he was successful though  |

mind you it didnt help when i used the ip on our TS ... 85.236.101.81............ its 100 not 101 lol what a knobsock i am.
ah well will try again tonight ... either that or lower myself to go back to 2142 ... sigh |

Some people have been having issues getting on the server which is a shame but can only really be blamed on multiplay, they do have connection issues at times, keep trying tho guys and remember the easiest way to connect is by IP which is 85.236.100.81:29160

This seems to have been resolved. I think most of us are connecting on the first attempt atm.  |

Highjacking the thread a sec, but any idea why our server still doesnt show in favourites?
its killing me trying to keep that itty bit of paper with the server number on it... the missus keeps 'tidying' it up.

Stays in mine fine since the last patch. I had to add it back in manually but its not dropped it since. |

Since the patch, it says its in there, and therefore I cant re-apply it, but its not showing so i cant delete it and try again.

Looks like I'm getting a new tattoo so i can chuck that paper... hmm dont change the server after the weekend Mrix ok !!!!  |

Bob it may be due to me changing the server settings every week or so, i'm not sure... why not make a text file on ur desktop that includes connect 85.236.100.81:29160 then all you have to do is copy and paste that into ur console in COD4

What an obvious and genius idea.
Cant believe I didn't do that.... erm, anyone know how to remove tattoos....
( ps. sorry to have left last night without sayin bye. bad etiquette, but Missus came back early and its hard for her to take her boots off because of HUGE bump in the way.... ) |
