I wouldn't worry too much about ya stats. I appriciate how you have played correctly and fair to get to where you are (I say are as when EA or Dice pull their finger out and wipe the new accounts you will be back there) and its totally unfair how others can just leap frog to the top.

I see the stats system as a bonus to the game, we all played the game when the stats went down for a month or two last year.

If they didn't have a stats system on BF3 it would maybe deter less hackers and cheaters but on the other hand it's probably going on in COD4 a lot and the stats are kept purley on your own HD for that game. I suppose its just the same in real life, people will always try and exploit the system to gain an unfair advantage.

just caught one of them on our server.... ive gave him a permanent ban

hes only been playin game for 5 days and hes a 4 star general....all his stats are the same

I gave up worrying about stats a long time ago.

well, dont you if y'all seen the stats now, but its get getting outta hand. Sounds like EA and Dice got thier work cut out for them.

Im with that guy about having 'players', if you can call them that, banned from all games and having their computer smashed to small pieces with their skulls.

What an idiot. He probably wont be bothered that his stats are reset though, he'll just hack all his badges etc again Evil or Very Mad

theres still alot of hackers at the top of the leader boards but they arent making them 4 stars anymore.....they making them all colonel ranks,i think this so they dont stand out anymore on servers

evenbalance and pbbans have been craking down on hack websites and hackers them selves

also if any of you are getting kicked from servers for PB violaltions like aimbot etc, evenbalance have noticed that hackers are sending specific text patterns in to chat programs that are open during gameplay such as IRC and instant messaging etc this will trigger you to be kicked for PB violations

It is clear that many of the demonstrators are cheat-supporters willingly participating in the demonstration, but there is evidence that some innocent players had PunkBuster violations triggered during the past few days by the hackers who sent specific text patterns into the chat programs that were open during gameplay. We are removing these text based patterns from our system and encourage admins to not ban for PB violations that occurred during the past few days.

Online gamers who play with other programs running should always enable security features in their messaging and chat programs to deny auto-download of files and only accept downloads from people they know and trust. As always, from PunkBuster's standpoint, if a known cheat pattern is in the memory of the computer during gameplay, then a violation will be triggered. We have always suggested closing other programs while you are playing multiplayer games on PunkBuster servers and that remains the safest policy. Leagues that require chat room usage for competitive play should take steps to ensure that only league participants have access and suspicious activity should be reported to us when there are concerns about manipulating the system.

also just so you get an idea of how many hackers there are out there... i used to ranked #34th for anti tank...now im #1093
