Yea played both beta`s or was one a demo I cant remember Confused

Not sure where this one is going really Question

the first time I tried it it was full of bugs and was really unplayable the second seemed like it could turn out ok.
It didnt really grab me though.

Yeah, i've heard alot about this game and the people behind it,
The core development team behind this game created the desert conflict mod for BF1942. Desert Conflict mod was the main reason why so many copies of BF1942 were being sold, so Dice asked the group (they were smaller then) to help make parts of BF2. after that, EA gave the group a place to work from and a company status. They a while back switched from EA to THQ, nothings been said why thats happened, and now their lastest offering is Frontlines: Fuel for War.

i must say that i think this game looks reall good. it seems to have done alot of things that battlefield 2142 could have done. i think that with a bit of time on this game it could make for a good few |2es games. it would be good to see if any |2es members give this one a go as i have seen a lot of game play footage and it is turning out really well. well we will have to waite and see lets hope its a grower.

I download and played the beta - check the frontlines section. I've played it a couple of times but wasn't overly impressed, but with a group of |2es fellas and some team play it may be good fun.

I am gonna get it - see if it does offer decent gameplay - I like the idea of SAM and ATM in one package to give the grunts somthing to grunt about!

When is it out any one know?

Anyone playing this game, if so what is it like?

I have got this game just on the basis of watching the video. At the time it looked better than BF2 and since playing the game it proved me right. The graphics are much better than CoD4 and it brings something different to the table with the use of RC cars carrying explosives to plant beneath tanks, RC copters to send in and disable HQ controls and wipe out guards of complexes before sending in your team.

I havn't had chance with the online play yet due to me hammering my PS3 with GT5 and Burnout etc.

Cod4 is now over rated and very bland without custom maps to play. It was only interesting when you first start out to complete the challenges and gain perks.

front lines could be a good game, but need to sort out bugs and some balance issues

On discussing graphics I stick with my statement. Game play wise get some decent team based S&D down ya!!!! Very Happy
